Concert for the Children 2023

We often talk about corporate sustainability. Furthermore, we focus on the significance of pursuing sustainable economic development with a positive effect on the environment and the community.

Today we would like to dig deeper into this last point.

Andrea Guizzi, the founder of RMG, has always been dedicated to safeguarding the people, going beyond his employees, and reaching also those outside the company. He handed down the attention toward the community to us. For this reason, we have the support of projects close to our hearts, which could impact positively on the community, also going past the boundaries of both our territory and country.

Therefore, for a long time, RMG has been supporting the childhood projects of the Brescian non-profit organisation of social utility “Una Mano per i Bambini Onlus” (lit. A helping hand for children), which has planned a unique initiative on 14^th April 2023: the “Concerto per i Bambini” (lit. Concert for the Children).

Una Mano per i Bambini Onlus: the projects

To do justice to the great value of the "Concert for the Children", it is proper to briefly explain more about "Una Mano per i Bambini Onlus" first.

As already told, "Una Mano per i Bambini" has its seat in Brescia, our city, and it officially became a non-profit organization of social utility in 2006. It operates in the Philippines and Myanmar to support and assist children and families who live in critical situations due to poverty, disease, and civil wars. The organization aims to guarantee help and a future for them through many projects, among which:

• The School of Joy was born in 2008 in the Philippines and is active in Burma too. The School of Joy is an opportunity for children to study, play, be fed, and be nursed inside facilities suitable for serving as a nursery school.
• The Health Pediatric Center was established at the beginning of 2010 in Myanmar. It offers free health care and first aid to children, families, and currently to many adults.
• The long-distance adoptions support both children and the entire community in which they live. Thanks to these adoptions, it is possible to do good while building an exchange-relationship between people and cultures. The resulting value is priceless both for those who receive and who donate.

What's the "Concert for the Children"?

The "Concert for the Children" is an event which is organised by "Una Mano per i Bambini" to raise funds for childhood projects in Myanmar and the Philippines.

After three years of absence due to the pandemic, the 11^th edition of the concert is finally back and will take place on 14^th April 2023 at 8.00 PM in San Barnaba Auditorium of Brescia.
