REUSE CYCLE
Our production business is based on the use of recycled metal and this enables us to recycle about 4200 MT per year in waste and EOW (End Of Waste) using only 5% of virgin raw materials compared to the total incoming material. This enables us to run a fully eco-sustainable business, always compliant with the metal recycling provisions, which joins a potentially infinite material recycling and re-use cycle.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
We monitor all steps
We monitor all production process steps through plants and devices for environmental protection, which are constantly updated to increasingly reduce our environmental impact.
Which devices are these?
• fumes abatement plants;
• vat for collecting and filtering rainwater;
• noise barrier;
• probe for continuously monitoring emissions.
We reduce waste of energy
The greater monitoring and control of each production step, through a 4.0 production process, enables us to analyse corporate consumption more effectively, hence reducing waste of energy.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
We monitor our emissions
We constantly monitor the quantity and quality of our emissions, even when the plants are shut down, and we ensure that they are far below the maximum threshold established by law.
We deliver slag and oxides
We deliver slag and oxides to specialised plants capable of transforming them into new materials. This allows us to reduce our environmental impact and use the available material as much as possible.
INGOT SHIPMENT
We use recyclable and reusable wooden pallets to ship our ingots. Furthermore, we use iron straps which - besides being highly resistant and durable - are easy to recycle as they are made of metal.
