Our environmental commitment also has social implications. It allows us to safeguard the wellbeing of the community and think of the future generations. Our social sustainability plan focuses on activities that create value both within and outside the company.
We work with schools and higher learning institutions through internship and/or partnership projects, such as Transversal Skills and Orientation Programme, Small and Medium Enterprises Day and university internships. Our goal is to offer students a chance to understand locally available job opportunities and make decisions for their future careers.
In RMG our employees are important. We promote corporate welfare actions aimed at protecting and training employees through refresher courses. Furthermore, we are committed to creating an enduring and trustworthy relationships with our employees as their loyalty to the company is extremely valuable to us. We support them so that they can create a long-lasting career with us, thus even reaching their retirement in RMG. A goal which we have shared with 23 of our employees up till now.
Besides sponsoring sports organisations, including Padile Running Team, we also support local projects through donations.
We are active members of local and industry Organisations. This is why we are members of Confindustria Brescia (local Italian Manufacturer’s Association), Assomet (National Association of Non-Ferrous Metals Industries) and Amafond (Italian Foundry Suppliers' Association).
