BRASS

Brass is a metal alloy consisting of the combination of copper and zinc. The colour of the material may range from copper red to yellow depending on the proportion between copper and zinc.

Other elements - such as for example nickel, iron, aluminium and manganese - may be added to the main metals that form this alloy so as to obtain beneficial properties in brass. In this case, the brass products are referred to as “special brasses”.

In general, brass and special brass are used in various industries, including healthcare, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering industries.
