Since signing the new Legislative Decree, Italy is undertaking new actions in order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus and the ensuing health crisis. The measures laid down by the decree of the Prime minister have been in force since Friday 6th November and will be effective till 3rd December.
Each political region was evaluated according to specific parameters which contributed to identify three different risk levels comprising the regions based on the analysed parameters. This has led to differentiated restrictive measures which depend on the assigned category and on the respective level of criticality:

  • Yellow area: The level of criticality in this category is deemed “moderate”.
  • Orange area: This category comprises the regions, where the risk is defined as “moderate-high”. Therefore, the measures are stricter than those provided for the yellow area.
  • Red area: This area consists of regions with a “high” level of criticality. Due to the high risk level a “soft lock-down” has been realized. Thus, it is forbidden any movement to any other region, municipality and even inside the municipality unless caused by duly justified work, need or health reasons. There are also provided for the closure of any non-essential business and limitations in the education and the public transportation. All the recreational and sports activities have been suspended.

The criticality levels can be redefined for each region according to the trend of the local epidemic curve and, hence, also the safety measures can be reevaluated.
However, all the factories are open even in the red areas and same case applies to our factory which remains open complying with all the safety measures.
