On 22nd April the Earth Day was celebrated: a global event which promotes environmental sustainability. What’s the goal? To make people aware of the need to protect and safeguard our planet through responsible and sustainable activities.
Let’s see the role of companies in this.

Sustainable development for companies

Companies nowadays must follow a Corporate Social Responsibility plan which aims at the full sustainability of every process in order to comply with the need to safeguard the surrounding environment. Through responsible practice, each company should implement a sustainable growth along three main axes:

  1. Environmental sustainability
  2. Social sustainability
  3. Economic sustainability

Three essential concepts which each company should take into account when creating a sustainability project and which could be enabled through an ethic approach. A role of great responsibilities for companies if considered the added value which is obtained environmentally, socially and economically.

The sustainable approach of RMG

With regards to Earth Day, we would like to focus on our effort for environmental responsibility. The main point is the attention, also complying with the regulations of the sector, we have always paid in the recovery of metals in our production of copper based alloys.
Our environmental responsibility goes further. Each production process is carried out and checked though production plants and devices deemed for the environment protection, whose maintenance and constant updates allow us to further reduce our impact.
Moreover, our effort in safeguarding of the planet includes the usage of renewable energies. As a matter of fact, RMG was awarded by A2A as sensitive customer to environmental issues for the usage of electrical energy produced by renewable sources and ensured by source certificates.

The protection of the environment and sustainability must be followed by everyone: an act of responsibility towards our planet and future generations.
