Foundry Industry: RMG bronze and brass ingots at Cast Expo 2022

Participating in industry trade shows such as Cast Expo is important for RMG, a refinery of non ferrous metals used for the production of bronze and brass ingots. Companies like RMG, whose business consists in the production of bronze, aluminium bronze, and special alloy ingots in compliance with both the main regulations of the industry and custom-made products, might benefit from these events organised for foundries and their suppliers.

Suffice it to say that refineries of non ferrous metals stand upstream of the long metallurgical supply chain and foundries are their most important business partners which, in turn, are essential for many other industries and production activities.

It is important for those companies like RMG which produce white brass, gun bronze ingots for foundries to participate in trade fairs like CastExpo & Metalcasting Congress since these exhibitions allow the meeting between the professionals and the specialists of the foundry industry.

What was our experience at CastExpo 2022?

CastExpo 2022: the importance for our refinery, bronze and aluminium bronze ingots manufacturer, of meeting other companies working in the North American foundry industry

In our previous content "CastExpo 2022: RMG meets North American foundries" we have already spoken about CastExpo by explaining briefly what it is and the reasons why this business-to-business event for the foundry industry plays such a significant role in the North American market. Therefore, now we would like to dig deeper into our experience during the latest edition of CastExpo, which took place last week in Columbus, Ohio. Why is it so significant for us to tell about our attendance at this event? There are many reasons, since CastExpo was:

  • The first trade show in the United States for RMG, thus representing an occasion to introduce to the North American market both our company, an Italian family-run refinery since 1961 and our expertise in the field of copper based alloys which allows us to keep the quality of our products at high levels while creating customised solutions to meet the needs of our customers;
  • An event that saw the participation of thousands of foundry industry professionals among which there are potential business partners to whom we had the chance to show our range of copper based alloy ingots;
  • The opportunity for our sales and technical staff to increase their knowledge of the industry in the North American market by meeting both local foundries and all the stakeholders taking part in the trade show;
  • The chance to keep up to date with all the latest trends in the industry;
  • Last but not least, a source of interesting food for thought to aim at innovating increasingly to meet both the new requests of the market and the demand of customers.

This experience was made positive also by the support of the AFS (American Foundry Society) team, who we would like to thank. What are our next steps? One of our goals is to join the next edition of April 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia. Since we hope that new business relations will arise from the latest edition, taking part in 2025 could be a further chance to enhance these new collaborations, while broadening our horizons most of all on the North American market.
