Refinery and family: RMG presents itself in a new video

A story about the production of bronze, aluminium bronze and brass ingots which, since 1961, has been carried on with the same values and the aim of creating value.
Through different historical periods and changes, this long journey in the industry of non ferrous alloys has always been guided by two constants: family and people.

In the past we have dealt with the important role of photography in corporate communication. As is well known, image is a powerful means of communication due to its ability to convey a specific message and to arouse emotions in the viewer, simply and directly.

Thus, let’s think about the stronger power of a video. Hence, in our new corporate video, we tried to tell of the essence of our “family” together with the core of our production of bronze and aluminium bronze ingots. We are talking about a collection of images which were put together to communicate who we are and what we have been doing since 1961.

This task was possible thanks to the collaboration with ASB\COMUNICAZIONE, with the students and the Professor Fidanza of LABA - Academy of Fine Arts and, last but not least, with the photographers Claudio Merisio and Alice Mazzoleni.

RMG presents: a family history

The video begins with a flashback: Andrea Guizzi, RMG founder, ambles around the plant of RMG, looking at the results of his efforts. At this point he turns and walks over to the viewer, exhorting him to go back to the present to discover how his company has evolved up to now.

The narrator becomes the spokesperson for the Guizzis and the “corporate family”. Through a voice-over, he accompanies the viewer through a journey around the company, starting with its beating heart: the production.

This journey goes throughout all the production stages, but a particular detail is brought to the attention of the viewer: in our industry, the ability to innovate originates from the experience in refining techniques, from the teachings handed down over the years and from human expertise:

«Innovation is a story which comes from afar,
it has solid and deep roots,
it is not something which is created, it is something which is moulded.
Something which is refined.»

The only way to achieve important goals of innovation and value creation is by combining different factors which are tightly bound together: the creation of quality products, always respecting the environment and the community, may exist only thanks to people and their experience.

Starting with Andrea, up to now with the third generation, the Guizzi family has created a strong identity which has been instilled also in the “corporate family”. As the narrator explains, this important legacy is carried on without compromises:

«We are family.
We are family in the values which have guided us everyday during three generations.
No compromises, ever.»
The narrator tells of origins and values which are still essential for RMG to look to the future, to innovate and to grow in the bronze industry responsibly:
«Quality, care for the environment,
sustainable development and look to the future.»

The journey around RMG ends with the “look to the future” of the Guizzi family, but at the same time this final gaze points toward Andrea Guizzi’s place of origin, which stands symbolically for the past and the tradition. These two images aim at moving the viewer, with whom the narrator shares an important teaching of Andrea:

«Strive for the future without forgetting your past.»
