Founded in 1961 as Special non-iron alloys foundry, in 1975 became Raffineria Metalli Guizzi, thus underlying the most important stage in metal working: refinery.
Years of experience and the improvement of every stage of the production through constant technological innovation authomatically led to a better quality and a greater range of products: in fact we are now able to produce brass billets and manganese bronze.
The meticoulus examination of every stage in the production process (from the arrival of the scraps to their selection, from the preparation of the mixtures to load in the oven to the quantitative analysis of the chemical composition and the possible adjustments, to the dispatch, always provided with a chemical analysis cartificate) allowed us to redact the quality giude and finally obtain the certification according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 regulation since 1995.
We are also proud to have obtained since 2004 the certification for our environmental management system according to UNI EN ISO 14001:2004regulation.

Environmental policy
R.M.G Raffineria Metalli Guizzi S.p.a., producer of ingots and billets in special alloys with a basis of copper, bronze, brass and aluminium bronze, set in the idustrial area of Cogozzo, Villa Carcina (BS), considers the protection of the environment a strategical aim, and for this purpose commits itself to:- respecting every local, regional and national environmental ragulation or law;
- altogether analyzing every material and energy flows that can be relevant for the environment as the foundation of a constant improvement;
- awakening partners, suppliers and customers to the environmental issues so as to stimulate a responsible behaviour through the spreading of the basic principles of the environmental management system.
- the adoption of the better technical standards affordable;
- the adoption of peculiar actions to reduce to a minimum the chances of accidents and their environmental impact;
- the non-stop involvement of the customers, the public and the authorities in all that concerns the environment.
